Kahoot / exit-ticket quiz questions from your word list

Ask AI for multiple-choice and short-answer quiz items from a word or grammar list you supply — ready to paste into Kahoot, a worksheet, or an exit ticket.

Quiz / KahootWord listP1–P6Likely

Problem

You already have this week’s vocabulary or grammar focus, but writing enough Kahoot items, exit tickets, or quick checks takes time. You need questions that stick to YOUR list — not random AI vocab or past-paper content.

Who it is for

Hong Kong and Asia primary English NET, LET, and EAL teachers (P1–P6) who want fast formative-check drafts from a teacher-owned word or grammar list.

Steps

  1. Gather your own word list, grammar targets, or topic phrases from your teaching notes — do not paste school private IP or past papers into a public chat.
  2. Tell the AI the year band, question types (MCQ / short answer / true-false), and how many items you need.
  3. Ask for Kahoot-ready stems (one correct answer + three plausible distractors) and/or exit-ticket short answers.
  4. Check every item: correct answer, age-appropriate distractors, no pupil names, no content outside your list.
  5. Copy into Kahoot, a worksheet, or a slide; adjust wording for your class before you use it.

Sample prompt

EXAMPLE — edit before you use; never paste pupil names

Write quiz questions for primary English (Hong Kong / Asia). Year band: [e.g. P3–P4].

Use ONLY this teacher-supplied list — no extra words, no past-paper content, no pupil names:
WORDS / TARGETS: [e.g. healthy, exercise, vegetable, fruit, sugar, water]
GRAMMAR (optional): [e.g. present simple, “I like / I don’t like”]

Make:
- 8 Kahoot-style multiple-choice questions (1 correct + 3 plausible distractors each)
- 2 short exit-ticket questions (1–2 word or short phrase answers)

For each MCQ, label Correct: [answer]. Keep language simple for the year band.
After the list, print a checklist of every list word used so I can spot gaps or extras.

Outcome

A draft set of quiz / exit-ticket items tied to your list — you still verify answers and tone before class or Kahoot.

Likely Common formative-assessment practice (quick checks, exit tickets, game-based quiz tools) + AI drafting — not a fake school case study

FAQ

Why is the source Likely not Verified?

It blends well-known classroom quiz and exit-ticket routines with AI drafting; there is no single official “this school did X” case study here.

Can I paste my school’s word list or past papers?

Do not publish private school lists or past-paper IP on this site or in public chats. Use your own teaching notes privately. This recipe is for teacher-supplied lists only.

Will these work directly in Kahoot?

Usually as a draft: copy stems and options into Kahoot (or similar), then edit length, images, and timing yourself. AI does not create the Kahoot file for you.
